![]() Yes, i get a wall full of hands that are always the same. I managed two successful co-op matches earlier in the week, alongside many failed connections - but now I'm not even seeing attempts to connect, just outdated/expired blue hands. While there could be client/local issues on top of this, it does seem like something else is broken on the server side. Yellow message hands however, do seem to be cycling and shifting positions. I've moved between areas and observed this over the past few days, and I definitely seem to be stuck with the same set of blue hands with seemingly no new ones appearing. ![]() no movement whatsoever, even a pixel - I'm convinced these are the same blue hands recycling. Due to the exact position being repeated a.k.a. They then disappear as they obviously should, but re-appear in an identical position seconds later - where they again immediately return "host world full" and the cycle continues. ![]() These always return "host world full" immediately - no delay whatsoever. Now however, blue hands seem to be "frozen" - that is, the very same hands are appearing across sessions in clearly identical spots. ![]() It should probably be noted here, that the online behaviour seems to have changed in the past few days - in a way that doesn't suggest client/localised problems.Ī few days ago, hands were appearing in obviously changing locations - perhaps on the same wall, but clearly not the same hands/players. We will update this post as we find out more information or roll out potential fixes. * If Symmetric NAT is a security feature from your router, another short-term solution would be to plug your computer directly in your modem - assuming your modem doesn't also sport this feature. * Some router have a "DMZ" feature that allows you to place one specific computer outside its security features. The two following solutions are not recommended because of the security risk they pose, but they could be tried to figure out if your modem or router are the culprit: If you want to force port forwarding as a potential solution, Hellpoint is working on the 20,000-30,000 range. Your router would then avoid changing the port numbers. * Other way, would be to "port forward" the ports used by Hellpoint. Some router allows you to reduce the NAT level to help in gaming connection. * On some router, "Symmetric NAT" is also labeled as "Strict NAT". * A very short-term solution that was shown to work would be to use a VPN - if you have access to one - to force a static port to be seen by the other player. Meanwhile, there's a few thing you can try. We are investigating a number of potential software solutions. Depending on your ISP, that feature can be directly part of your modem, depending on the model they require you to use. Our initial investigation on people who have the "Connection Failed" message shows the culprit is most likely a modem or router using a "Symmetric NAT" protocol that randomly change the outbound port number as a security feature.
